Memorial Day Weekend

Orders Due Thursdy at 8pm!

Memorial Day weekend is quickly approaching. Our holiday menu features a wide range of special items, including Burger Buns, Strawberry Rhubarb Pie, Veggie Empanadas, and a selection of artisan breads and several take-and-bake items. Preorder by this Thursday at 8pm for pick up either Saturday May 23rd or Sunday 24h at any of our three locations.

Our Empanadas this year come in a two pack: one with Potatoes, Broccoli and Cheddar and one with Mushrooms, Potatoes and Leeks. These are vegetarian, but even the meat lovers will love them!

For the first time ever, we are offering a new “Baby” loaf  for pre-order - our Blonde Baby Cheddar bread.  This size is perfect for smaller gatherings - or buy a few for each person to enjoy!  For those who love our Cheddar Ficelles or Cheddar Bread - this one is for you.

Central Street Parking Updates & Online Ordering

The construction on Central is a little bit better this week - thank you to everyone for continuing to come by the bakery despite the inconvenience.  

As of today, customers can park on Central for a quick trip to the bakery. Just to be cautious, put on your hazards when you park on the street.  And, please note that parking restrictions and lane closures can still be implemented in the days and weeks to come. While the worst is over, the project is not done yet, so continue to be mindful of the parking signage. FREE 30 minute and 2 hour parking is still available in the Metra lot on Poplar. 

Square Same Day Ordering is now available at ALL locations - we hope you enjoy the convenience of ordering online.

Raspberry Danish Latte

Have you tried our Raspberry Danish Latte? Our talented baristas are making this special drink at all locations, inspired by Little Joy Coffee in Northfield, MN. After perfecting the drink, the wonderful people at Little Joy decided to share the recipe online. As Cody Larson, owner of Little Joy says, “In a world where chain coffee shops dominate the market with ingredients that come from a bottle or a box, making things the hard way from scratch is how independent shops, together, can raise the bar and take back some of that market. If all independent shops do better, we all do better.”              

So . . . thank you Cody for the recipe!  We love the collaboration between our pastry and front of house team on this special drink. We hope you enjoy it.
