Don’t forget to place your pre-order by 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 12th for pick up March 14, 15, or St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) at either Evanston, Libertyville or Winnetka. There are many different items to choose from, both sweet and savory, plus some great bread, like our Bacon Brioche Loaf, Potato Rosemary Bread and Brown Bread. Be sure to order soon-while we will have these items for walk-in sales all weekend, they are sure to sell out. Ordering ahead is your best bet!
Easter
Easter is one of our favorite holidays at Hewn. This year we have a mix of old and new offerings. Our new and improved Hot Cross Buns are a tradition at Hewn that you are sure to enjoy. Bunny Cookies are back and they are cuter than ever! On the bread side, try our delicious Chocolate Braided Bread, Dinner Rolls, and a variety of your favorite artisan loaves, including Cranberry Walnut. The star of the show this year is our Carrot Cake, topped with fresh, edible flowers. You will not want to miss this one! Choose your pick up date for either Saturday, April 4th or Sunday, April 5th at Evanston, Libertyville or Winnetka.

Valrhona Easter Chocolates
This year, we’re featuring two limited-edition Easter creations from Valrhona that are as beautiful as they are delicious. For the traditionalists, the Chocolate Egg boxes are a treat for all ages. They feature a mix of three iconic flavors: the deep Extra Bitter 61% dark, the creamy Jivara 40% milk, and the fan-favorite Dulcey 35% blond. If you're looking for something a bit more playful, the Chocolate Animals box is almost too cute to eat. These milk and blond Dulcey forest friends are filled with a rich, velvety praline—bringing a little bit of refined indulgence to every Easter basket. Stop by any of our locations to pick up yours, or preorder online for Easter weekend!

Meet Middle Child
Named for the trailblazers and the risk-takers, Middle Child is our new line of pantry goods made right here at Hewn. While our breads are rooted in tradition, Middle Child is our way of going "against the grain" to bring a bit of that rebellious spirit to your home kitchen.
We are kicking things off with two pantry essentials that are, quite frankly, problematically delicious:
Granola: Clean, flavorful, and packed with the kind of crunch that demands attention. It’s not just a topping; it’s a statement.
Pancake Mix: Wholesome, straightforward, and intentionally crafted to turn a standard breakfast into something extraordinary. Pair with a bottle of Embark Maple Syrup from B&E’s Trees and you have the perfect meal!
